Electrician

Electrician - Domestic Testing ARC RT are currently recruiting for an electrician to work with our client, a successful electrical contractor. Due to continued growth they are now looking to hire 2 additional electricians to join their electrical testing division. All of the works are for private tenanted properties through letting agents and the work is NOT social housing. You will be responsible for completing the periodic and end of tenancy EICR's for the properties. There is NO remedial works apart from C1 to be carried out as the company has their own reactive and remedial teams. This position is purely for testing and you will be required to carry out between 2 & 4 tests per day depending on the size of property and distance between jobs. The jobs will always be in Surrey, Hampshire and West London (Twickenham & Hounslow). The client is expecting the electrician to be 18th edition, level 3 and if you have 2391 or 2394/5 that would be advantageous but not essential. All of the works are scheduled in advance and you will know your jobs a week prior. The working hours are between 8am - 4.30pm. In return you will be provided with a generous salary of between £35,000 - £38,000, van, fuel card, pension, holidays and laptop (all jobs, worksheets and reports are online). Overtime is available if you want it, it is not expected of you.
