Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading consultancy based in Newcastle, require a Quantity Surveyor to join an existing team delivering schemes under a single Client framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the construction process from procurement to the agreement of the Final Account for commercial construction schemes up to £4 million. The work will be predominantly office based, in our clients Newcastle office but there will be requirement to visit sites and attend meetings. The role is full-time. Ideally the candidate will be educated to degree level and will have a minimum of two years post-graduation experience from a main contracting background. We will, however, consider candidates with less experience and/or a PQS background. The successful individual will be used to working collaboratively within a team, as well as operating under his or her own initiative. Package includes £25-35k salary + company car + profit-share bonus
