Intermediate Architectural Technician/ Technologist AC(phone number removed) Milton Keynes £25,000- 30,000 (Depending On Experience) Our client, an established RIBA Chartered architectural practice based neat Torquay, Devon, have an exciting new requirement for an Architectural Technician/ Technologist to join their award-winning team on a permanent basis. You will get the chance to work on a variety of small, medium and large scale residential and commercial projects as part of a small, vibrant and ambitious team where career progression is actively promoted. This practice used VectorWorks, so experience in this software is desirable (although not essential!). Essential skills/ qualifications for this Architectural Technician/ Technologist role: Be suitably qualified and ideally you will already have experience within a UK based practice - ideally within the residential and commercial sectors. Have strong knowledge of Vectorworks, AutoCad, Photoshop & Sketchup. Excellent hand sketching abilities. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. A UK driving licence & ideally your own transport.To work as an Architectural Technician/ Technologist you will be: Working as part of a team, assisting on development of design proposals. Assisting in the preparation of drawings, reports, visualisations, schedules and specifications. Coordinating designs with other members of the team. Producing planning application drawings and develop further detailed stages suitable for Building Regulation applications, tender and construction. Liaising with clients and other consultants to develop designs and prepare documentation for tender purposes, including specification writing.
