Job Description

Repairs Manager required ASAP based in Croydon. This role is on a temporary basis. Main Duties Manage contractors, contracts and budgets Manage Maintenance Surveyors and other staff Ensure compliance to H&S requirements To provide advice to other staff, both technical and non-technical, on construction and building related matters. To manage complaints through the complaints process, including receiving, taking ownership, providing written responses, attending hearings as required. Experience, Skills, Knowledge required: Strong track record of successful contract management and experience of carrying out the lead officer function. Strong track record of effectively managing budgets Competent knowledge and application of the legislation, policy, regulatory and technical frameworks relating to day to day and void works and can provide advice and guidance to others on most complex cases Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in written reports. Able to work with minimal supervision and confident using own initiative.
