Energy Consultant - Newcastle area

An Energy Consultant with knowledge specifically within the net zero carbon arena and electrification of heat sectoris being sought to join this small multi-disciplinary practice away from Newcastle city centre. Being well known for their work with large scale healthcare, residential and energy intensive developments, they are looking for someone with a solid all round energy background who understands the different technologies such as district heating and CHP etc. Background wise, it is expected that you will have either been working as a consultant or engineer in the sector for three years or more, and have had opportunity to be client facing. In this role, it is essential that you are keen to engage with clients regarding projects, plans and future opportunities to tender. While this isn't an out and out business development position, it will suit someone who has a commercial outlook and a leaning towards being client facing. You will not need to be Chartered, but it is essential that you can demonstrate knowledge within the energy sector and it is expected that you will have a degree in Energy, Mechanical or possibly Building Services Engineering.
