My client are a well-respected, well established fit out and refurbishment company with work across the UK. They are looking for a site manager to join a large team on a large fit out working for a tier one main contractor, this role involves been on site all day and doesn’t involve been in the office dealing with paper work. This is a tough job with a demanding client and will require somebody who is patient and diplomatic. The main area of the job will be to manage a screeding contractor The Site Manager role will involve: Liaising with other Project managers and site manager to ensure work is completed on time and in budget Been on site ensuring the parts of the job that are finishing are done so in an efficient way. Ensuring all sub contractors are working to program and managing the health and safety around them, Liaising with on a daily basis the main contractor Filling in Rams Ensuring site is managed for Covid 19 and all health safety Dealing with issues on site with some element of fire fighting This is a tough demanding job, it will all be based out on site pushing the job along Working 10-12 hour shifts (you will be paid extra for the longer shifts) Will work one every three weekends The ideal Site Manager candidate: Will need to have in date SMST and 3 day first aid. Will need either an in date Black Management CSCS card or a red experienced technical manager card. Have previous large scale fit out experience working for a main contractor particular experience of managing screeding contractors Be happy to work long hours when needed and work away. Be happy to work mainly out on site and not in the office. Be patient and diplomatic in approach. Have experience of working on tough delicate jobs. Be a team player. Benefits for the Site Manager role: £300 per day up to 11 hours £350 per day 12 + hours £350 per day nights and weekends These rates are inclusive of hotel accommodation and travel (accommodation costs around £220 per week in local accommodation) The role duration is between 6-8 weeks.
