Installation Team Leader - Water Utilities

Installation Section Leader – Water Utilities £14 per hour 3 month contract starting immediately Basingstoke, Hampshire Area Working for a Water Technology Provider we are looking for an Installation Section Team Leader to supervise a team of 3 Installation Operatives to work in the Basingstoke, Hampshire area supporting the installation and refurbishment of Sanitaire Aeriation equipment. This role is working Monday – Friday and working a 39 hour week however a flexible working attitude is necessary to meet the client and business needs. Some additional on-call duties will be required on a rota basis. You must be a driver with your own car to travel to the various sites. Duties will include:- Ensuring that all site activities are carried out in compliance with the following documents. Company site specific Site Safety Plans All Statutory obligations or construction regulations applicable to the Sub-Contract Works. Thames Water site specific procedures. The companies Health and Safety Manual Risk Assessments and Method Statements Conduct daily work/safety briefings with the team. Liaise with the site manager and Customer site manager as required. Maintain and inspect all company issued tools and equipment. Set out dimensions for equipment installation. Monitor and check quality of installation. Carry out and record regular toolbox talks. Lifting of associated components from ground level to an approximate height of 6m using the appropriate equipment. Lowering of new aeration equipment into tanks from a height of approximately 6m using the appropriate tools. Assembly and installation of new aeration equipment and all associated apparatus. Leak and Pattern testing of completed installation. Install and commission supplied equipment and all associated apparatus. Work as part of a team where health and safety demands. Carry out both planned and reactive service visits as scheduled in a timely manner. Working in an outdoor environment in different weather conditions on a daily basis. Essential requirements: Must have CSCS General Operative Card Full UK Driving License Appropriate supervisory training, either CITB SSSTS or similar level IOSH Ideally have a TWUL Safety Passport, however training can be provided You must be physically fit and able to lift heavy weights and able to work in confined spaces which are accessed via ladders or harnesses and a fall arrestor Be comfortable working in a wste water environment
