Estimator Surveyor - Cladding / Roofing Southampton Salary £DOE + Package I am currently partnering with an established Façade Contractor based in Southampton who are searching for an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join the business. This established Envelope Contractor undertakes a wide range of Cladding and Roofing projects across the South for well know blue chip clients. Project range from £500K to £3M Due to an increase in tender enquiries they are now looking to recruit an experienced Estimator / Surveyor to complement their skilled facades team. They have been established for over twenty years and have an excellent staff retention record. This is a great opportunity for an Estimator/Surveyor to join a growing sub contractor with a strong order book and who has plans to grow in 2021. About the Role This is a duel role where you will price roofing and cladding projects. Perform drawing take offs, prioritising tenders, analysing plans, assessing cost priorities as well review material and labour requirements. Once the project has been won you will be responsible for commercial duties that will include managing payments, CVRs, preparation of tender documents, sub contract and materials procurement, preparation of budget costings and valuation of project variations, maximising profit and final account. The successful applicants will have several years experience working within the Cladding or Roofing sector. Well organised with good presentation skills and have the ability to communicate professionally at all levels.
