Job Description
Construction Site Manager, Company based in East Yorkshire but the role is UK wide, Salary up to £40,000 + potential bonus + 25 days holiday.
Arlington Moore is working exclusively on behalf of a company which has exciting plans for growth and as a result of this they are looking for an additional Site Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the Project Manager the Site Manager will be responsible for full management of the site; leading the team including, staff, consultants and suppliers to a safe, timely and high-quality completion on each project.
Responsibilities of the Site Manager will include:
Full site management
Complying with the Health and Safety Procedures
Ensuring the customer is aware of site progress and key issues
Ensuring a clear understanding of the contracted requirements including scope of works
Managing each sub-contractor against the programme
Maintaining coherent and clear Site Records incl. daily labour, plant allocation, site diaries, Health & Safety Inductions, Method Statements, Risk & COSSH assessments, toolbox talks, scaffold inspections, materials logs and all other records
Organising plant, equipment hire and monitoring, its timely return, protection and security whilst on site
Development of O&M manuals for handover
Ensuring all sub-contractor RAMS are issued, reviewed and approved prior to attending site
Planning and managing Quality Management Test & Inspection Plan
Liaising with the Design team throughout the build
We are looking for a Professional Site Manager who has worked in any area of construction but can demonstrate a thorough understanding of how to manage a team including subcontractors as well as a good understanding of providing a professional service to clients and liaising with internal teams.
This role is working away from home most weeks Mon – Fri, accommodation and transport are provided.
