Technical Sales Engineer - Air Conditioning

The Company:
We are currently working with a successful, expanding Staffordshire based air conditioning contractor with over 20 years of industry experience. They specialise in the design, installation, maintenance and repair of various HVAC equipment for various Market sectors. They provide their services to the educational, conferencing and retail sectors as well as various commercial and industrial customers.
The Role - Technical Sales Engineer
They are currently recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer to be an integral link between the client and the company. The successful applicant will be responsible for interpreting engineer's recommendations & manufacturer's best-practice suggestions along with the potential costs associated, and subsequently putting together quotations for our clients.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience in the HVAC industry, be confident in your ability to identify a customer's requirements in order to provide technical solutions, and be able to quickly build relationships with clients.
The Role:
Office based with the requirement to attend site for surveys and meetings etc...
Meeting or assisting engineers on site when required
Process & analysis of engineers reports/work sheets
Technical ability to assist field-based engineers with diagnostics & problem solving
Liaising with manufacturers technical dept to confirm parts required
Quoting for repair works based on engineers recommendations
Follow-up quotes and update CRM
Assist the service co-coordinator with task set-up & job management
Investigating and implementing changes in methods that will improve efficiency, quality and customer service
Working to individual and company targets, with related bonus scheme
Job costing and clearing associated purchase invoices
Updating team dashboards and active participation in weekly team meetings
Assisting engineers with admin, vehicle checks, tool register etc.

Technical Sales Engineer Package:
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Commission
40 hours per week
On-going training
30 Days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays
