Setting-Out Engineer

Activus Recruitment is actively recruiting a highly-skilled Setting-Out Engineer for a leading civil construction client. With operations ranging from concrete and civil works to the Design and Build of a prestigious development located in Faslane, Helensburgh. This project is due to commence in September 2020 and is a contract role for over 49 weeks. Duties Included: * Setting out the site along with other engineering duties. * Carry out construction checks and ensure the built product is top quality demanded by the customer * Liaise with site teams and management regarding project changes * Accurately set out all items detailed in project construction drawing * Ensure all items are within defined tolerances and recorded accurately * Promote and implement safe working practices * Assist in management and motivation of the project delivery team * Work with senior management to identify ways to improve project execution along with other engineering duties Qualifications/Additional Requirements * Qualified engineer (industry-accredited foundation degree, Higher National Diploma (HND) * 5 Day SMSTS * Security clearance * First Aid Please note: This is a full–time contract position How to Apply You can apply for this position by clicking on the Apply Now link or call Activus Recruitment directly on (phone number removed) for more information
