Site Supervisor Location : High Road Broadford Isle of Skye, Scotland 6 Month Contract Accommodation provided if required £(Apply online only) p/d Umbrella My client is in the structural phase of a hospital, they require a Site Supervisor to oversee internal trades on New Build Community Hospital Ideally from a joinery background if possible Must have worked on large commercial buildings, hospitals would be good, if not schools, large offices, sports facilities, etc Lead elements of the project team and manage the supply chain to deliver projects to time, cost and quality targets and standards Ensure safety targets and standards are maintained by: Knowing what safety excellence looks like and communicating safety with passion and credibility, in order to inspire, motivate and lead the project team to achieve the vision Fostering a continuous improvement culture by actively seeking input from all members of the project team and encouraging them to implement safety improvements Ensuring the safety and welfare of the general public, staff and supply chain Make Safety Personal by working safely, stopping work if unsafe and speaking up to address any safety concerns Participate in safety initiatives Understand the relevant Contract terms and conditions for each project Responsible for people management on elements of the project Ensure the Company and Divisional procedures and policies are followed i.e. the Business Management System, including the Process Operating Model Ensure defects and any post completion issues, if applicable, to maintain a positive customer relationship and repeat business performance levels are managed Ensure effective records are maintained and kept for project delivery and regularly report on project progress, risks and issues to project management Lead, manage and deliver operational excellence and efficiency through: Thorough implementation of planning, risk, project controls and change controls Ensuring Visual daily management meetings are carried out to drive project performance Implementation of best practice commercial management Manage sub-contractors, including monitoring of contractor attendance and progress; provide direct instruction and support as necessary such that contractual arrangements are achieved Manage labour and materials efficiently where self-executing works and monitor expenditure in accordance with the agreed Project Schedule and budget Live the Balfour Beatty Values Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm Support the delivery of CSUK's Sustainability activities Ensure sustainability targets and standards are achieved by: Actively engaging to understand and deliver key sustainability objectives Promoting Sustainable Solutions around all operations, particularly those related to efficient management of Waste, Energy and Water Engaging in effective Community Engagement Plans and Skills programmes where required Regularly review short term programmes in line with the overall project programme to ensure completion on time, and ensure that project plans and schedules are robust and optimise project resources and timescales, and are communicated effectively to the project team Advantage Resourcing is a service driven recruitment consultancy
