Environmental Team Leader

Role purpose: Remedial work in domestic and commercial properties following the loss of various liquid and solid materials. Damage repair work on behalf of clients and asbestos removal from soils for our civils division Essential Hold a valid driving license Held a valid asbestos removal certificate for at least 6 months. Have an in date medical certificate. CSCS card Excellent knowledge and workmanship in all aspect of building, landscaping and excavating. Ability to read and understand structural drawings issued by clients. High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance Exceptional communication skills at all levels, to build relationships with clients, colleagues and property owners. Desirable Digger and dumper npors or equivalent licence Trailer license Competent IT skills to send emails/photos from the company issued tablet. Landscaping experience Roles and Responsibilities: Supervise the day to day site duties Supervise the operatives Continual photos throughout the day showing work completed and problems encountered. This must be sent in before the end of each day. Communicate accurate measures or quantities of materials needed on site within an acceptable period allowing for delivery or collection. Communicating any additional work that is asked by the client that is not covered by the scope of works. Ensure an up to date list daily of materials used and work carried out. Oversee that sites are to protect were possible using plastic, boards or any other suitable material as to not create damage to property or to create a secondary contaminated area. Oversee that skips have boards underneath to prevent damage and lined with a plastic sheet to stop any liquids leaching out. Ensure sites and machinery are left in a safe and secure area at the end of each day with pictures of the site included in the daily upload. When required due to access manual excavating Site to be left clean, swept, and free of debris, skips lined and covered with correct signage erected for the site. Risk assessments to be filled out each day and updated if there is any change throughout the day. No blameworthy complaints regarding behaviour or language. Correct PPE worn always. Additional Tasks Carry out any other duties that can reasonably be requested from time to time within the skills, training and experience required for this position
