Chartered Building Surveyor Location: Manchester (M2) Synopsis: A Chartered Building Surveyor is required by a well-known and respected national construction consultancy to work on mainly commercial office, retail, and residential projects Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (bonus+car allowance+pension+benefits) About the company: This national construction consultancy has three offices covering the UK as well as an office in Europe. They invest heavily in their staff by offering great incentives, salaries, benefits, and bonuses. They work all most sectors within the built environment, but mainly focusing on commercial offices, hotels, retail, and private residential. Their office in Manchester is currently looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor who has experience working on leading build projects in and around Manchester. You will need comprehensive knowledge across a broad range of building surveying duties, but this role will focus more on project-based work and contract administration. 50% will be office-based and the other 50% site based. Their Manchester office is 20 people strong and made up of building surveyors, project managers, and quantity surveyor. It is rapidly growing, so they need someone to be proactive and sharp who wants to work in a forward-thinking and driven organisation. You will enjoy working as part of a team with fellow construction professionals and with clients on leading and challenging projects. COVID WORKING: All members of staff are currently working from home with limited site visits. Their offices are re-opening in two weeks, and where home working is not possible, they have completed a risk assessment which includes spaced out desks, hand sanitisers, restricted kitchen use.
