Technical / Design Manager – Roofing & Cladding Salary negotiable, depending on experience + excellent benefits Firmly established as one of the UK's leading Commercial Building Envelope Contractors, our client is a specialist in delivering Roofing and Cladding Refurbishment Projects to Blue-Chip organisations across the UK. Due to a record-breaking year for the company and an internal re-structure, we are now looking to appoint an ambitious, forward-thinking Technical/ Design Manager to make a long-term career move to the business. This is a brand-new role within the company, so it is an ideal opportunity to make your mark within a company which has no ceiling on internal promotion and with potential progression up to Director level. ·Working on larger projects, you will be responsible for producing a total design solution specific to each contract. ·You will have a solid design background in a commercial setting (possibly as a senior draughtsman) with a good knowledge of cladding, particularly in relation to Health & Safety and the new Fire Regulations. ·Technical excellence is a pre-requisite for the role. You will have responsibility for eliminating risk from projects, ensuring that all projects are designed and installed to an exceptional level. ·Supporting and mentoring the design team as required.
