Planned Maintenance Team Leader
Abercynon, South Wales (15 miles north of Cardiff)
£34,600.54 per annum
35 Hours per week (Monday to Friday – Flexitime available)

They’re looking for a passionate and practical Planned Maintenance Team Leader to ensure their tenants live in safe, comfortable and well maintained homes.
In this key role you will assist the Asset & Compliance Manager and be responsible for the supervision of the planned maintenance operational activities, repairs and associated team’s budget. You will supervise the day to day operational activities to deliver their planned maintenance and a number of cyclical maintenance programmes. You will also be responsible for managing contracts, project management, feasibility projects, stock condition surveys and database, and your allocated service budget. You will also supervise Project Officers, Administration Support, trade colleagues and supporting contractors.
You must have working knowledge of planned maintenance and investment works, stock condition surveys and databases etc. You will also have a clear working knowledge of building construction and technical information relating to built environment, including procurement, CDM and an understanding of Building Regulations and Welsh Housing Quality Standards is essential. You are required to hold a professional qualification in a building related subject or equivalent.
