Site Agent

Are you an experienced Site Agent/Manager? Do you want to work on a very prestigious project? BCS Connect are currently searching for an experience Site Agent/Manager for our client, a well-established market leading Highways and Civil Engineering company. You will be working on an innovative road installation based project of a high spec nature. This is a temporary role with an interview process to be taken place for the right candidates. The role will be primarily based in Luton, Bedfordshire however due to the regional nature of the position you will be required to travel to the client’s office based in Cheshunt for meetings as and when required. The ideal candidate for this project will have a strong background in highways and civil engineering with some M&E experience. You will be managing the process of probe installations, delivery of a tech building, pipework, surfacing work and other civils based tasks. The role will involve: * Maintaining health and safety standards on site * Keep cost control in line with project specifications * Method statements, hazard risk assessments and project management plans * Specific procurement based duties. * Management of sub-contractors and site operatives * Liaising and building good relationships with clients * Manage design co-ordination * Manage contracts to ensure timely and profitable completion of contracts Requirements for the role: * Experience and in-depth knowledge of highways build schemes * Good communication skills, self-starter and good management skills * Main contractor experience in civils projects Drainage, Highways, Roads and M&E processes * SMSTS qualification * CSCS Black card * Degree Qualified in civil engineering or HND equivalent. * 1st Aid How to apply?
