Assistant Quantity Surveyor Nottingham Office – Covering East Midlands (Including Northampton) New Build National Main Contractor £28,000 - £33,000 plus package 360 Recruitment are currently looking to speak to Assistant Quantity Surveyors for a permanent role with one of our clients, a National Main Contractor who have an office in Nottingham but operate across the East Midlands, including Northampton. This role is an immediate requirement and my client are looking to make an appointment within the next 4 weeks. As a business, this contractor has multiple offices within the UK and have a growing portfolio of successfully delivered projects. Responsibilities for the role will include: Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and occasionally the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the commercial team that helps deliver new build residential projects. Your duties will include but not limited to: Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor. Measurement and take offs. Paying Subcontractors. Meeting clients on site to discuss live projects and pre-construction phases. Assisting in sub-contract procurement and commercial management. Management of project costs and timescales. Assisting with contractual issues and taking 'lead' when required Assisting with subcontractor selection, ongoing accounts, project managers and other key stakeholders My client is ideally looking for a degree qualified Assistant Quantity Surveyor or a Trainee Quantity who has the motivation and desire to progress their career.
