HIAB Driver

Premier Work Support are currently recruiting for a permanent HIAB Driver to join a team of drivers for a client based in Horsham area. This role will assist with deliveries to customer sites within Surrey and Sussex area. The successful candidate will need to have an excellent customer service background as you will be an ambassador for the company. You will also need to be professional, calm, polite and hardworking as you may be expected to resolve issues on building sites and give product advice where necessary. As part of the role you will be expected to oversee and assist with the loading of your truck in the yard, ensuring that the product loaded matches the delivery documentation assigned for that day's route. All administrative tasks associated with this role including work sheets, tachograph records, delivery paperwork and proof of delivery must also be carried out to a high standard. You will need at least 5 years' experience in the transport industry together with a current Tacho card, CPC and HIAB all of which must have been held for a minimum of a year for insurance purposes. A Forklift licence would be beneficial although is not essential. This job is physical and will involve some lifting and carrying to load/offload your truck. This permanent position offers full time hours of work, Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pm and alternate Saturdays 8am-12pm. Please apply with your CV today
