About the role: This is an exciting opportunity for a field based GI Monitoring Technician to join an enthusiastic team, delivering ground investigation and geotechnical services to a wide range of clients across the UK. The role will be field based to undertake groundwater and ground gas monitoring and sampling. You will: Perform groundwater and gas monitoring plus sampling of standpipes and piezometers on sites across the south of England Perform monitoring of specialist instrumentation including vibrating wire piezometers, inclinometers, extensometers and data loggers. Act as resident technician on large sites, preparing core samples and assisting the logging engineers. Occasional delivery/collection of consumables, samples and equipment to and from site in and around the London area. About you: Were looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated individual with ability to work alone and as part of a team. Communicative, organised, flexible and committed, you must also have: Full and clean UK driving licence Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Mobility and flexibility in a physically demanding work environment Awareness of construction site health and safety.
