CAD / BIM Technician

CAD /BIM Technician (Contract) My client is a multi disciplinary engineering consultancy and they are looking for a CAD /BIM Technician on a contract basis for work out of their South West offices. Main duties for the CAD / BIM Technician are as follows: Prepare detailed working drawings, as required by the Project Manager, in accordance with the Project Quality Plan. Utilise computer aided design systems, ideally AutoCAD (Apply online only) Have a good understanding of all relevant Standards and Codes of Practice. Have an understanding of Health and Safety requirements in own discipline design. Have an understanding of Water and Sewerage systems, ideally Sewage Treatment Works and Manholes and pipelines. Other duties as agreed with Team Leader/CAD Manager Essential experience needed for the role - Must Ideally have a min HNC in a Civils discipline, and preferably minimum C&G L2/3 in AutoCAD. Have experience in drawings for Civil, M&E, Environmental and Geotechnical fields of engineering
