Site Manager – Highways

Site Manager – Highways Site: Fareham Day Rate £225 Blaymires Recruitment is working with a Highways Contractor who is searching for a Site Manager with Highways experience for a long-term contract. The company will consider either a hardworking Highways Site Manager or Site Engineer looking to step up and work on a Highways Improvement project based near Fareham. As a Site Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day management and delivery of highway improvement and road renewal scheme for the contract. The Key Points: •Produce and check Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Construction Phase Plans •Produce works programmes and liaise with contractor to ensure programme dates are met •Liaise and facilitate relationships with designers, contractors, stakeholders, public and client •Advise designers on buildability of designs •Manage all permits and approvals for the schemes •Manage and resolve site/construction issues •Arrange and chair progress meetings with contractors •Ensure schemes are constructed in accordance to the approved design •Ensure workforce adhere to H&S and Environmental rules Experience and Qualifications •HND or equivalent in engineering/project management related qualification •Experience of Highways Projects •Track record of delivering within agreed parameters •IOSH or SMSTS Safety Management •CSCS Card •Excellent IT skills •Excellent verbal and communication skills If you are out of work or furloughed from your current job and would like further information, then contact Stephen Blaymires at Blaymires Recruitment on (phone number removed) / (phone number removed)
