Job Description

Planner Toome - Antrim Northern Ireland Permanent My client a specialist Joinery contractor who delivers a complete turnkey solution to the Hotel, Office, Retail & Heritage sectors require a Planner in the Toome - Northern Ireland. Role Overview The successful postholder will be responsible for developing and maintaining schedules on multiple projects to ensure that the projects are completed safely, on time, to the required specification and within budget. You will be involved at all stages of the project from tender to post completion. Key Duties & Responsibilities: * Preparation of all tender stage programmes * Attending tender stage site visits when required * Plan and monitor project logistics in line with procurement and delivery agreements * Maintain and update programmes to reflect actual and forecasted progress and resources * Track and evaluate progress of live sites and the pre-construction phases * Liaising with managers and site teams to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise and revise programme to mitigate risk and delays * Participating in meetings with site teams, clients and subcontractors to discuss the project details when required * Present information for internal and external meetings on the project * Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures * Ensure records and paperwork are accurate and up to date * Other ad hoc duties commensurate with this position Person Specification: Qualifications & Experience: Essential: * HNC Level Qualification or above, preferably in Construction or Engineering related subject * Recent and relevant experience in a similar position within the construction industry, * Must hold a relevant CSR / CSCS card * Strong communication skills * Excellent IT skills and relevant knowledge of Planning software i.e. Microsoft Project, ASTA Powerproject etc * High attention to detail * Ability to work effectively both alone and in a team environment * Strong problem solving and commercial awareness * A proactive and flexible working approach with the ability to adapt to changing situations and duties * Experience of working in a busy fast paced environment * Reliable and punctual Salary and package dependent on experience (Negotiable) Please contact Adam at ConsortioRG with your most up to date CV.
