Design Coordinator Salary £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience Permanent position Our client is one of the leading fabrications and installation companies, providing structural and architectural metal work for the construction industry. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Design Coordinator to join a growing company and build a design department around them. The ideal candidate must have steel industry experience. Responsibilities Managing design programmes Document upload to varying system using document protocol. Quality checking all drawing prior to uploaded and release to production and installation. Liaise with external designers ensuring all information is provided. This releases any blockers offering the workshop and installations drawing in advance, to help programme requirement and manage a steady flow of work. Build a design department, resourcing internal and external options. Attend design meetings. Attend face to face meetings with customers.Skills / Qualifications Professional and proactive approach Excellent communicator Advance Steel experience, would be beneficial to allow minor amendments of drawings Trained in modern software packages Strong organisational and coordinating skills Response Personnel, an independently owned company and experts in recruitment since 1997.
