FURNITUBES is a leading manufacturer and installer of Street Furniture and looking to build its market position, by recruiting further talented individuals with sales and tender formulation experience in the construction, fit-out and/or street furniture sectors. FURNITUBES is gearing up to continue to punch well above their weight in the post-Covid19 business world. YOU MUST HAVE TENDER FORMULATION, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND SALES EXPERIENCE IN THE UK CONSTRUCTION SECTOR. Please note, we are NOT looking for someone to who is site-oriented to merely run contracts! WHAT WILL YOU HAVE: 5+ years SUCCESS in negotiating terms for large contracts and converting Tender opportunities to profitable sales is ESSENTIAL. As well as: the ability to interpret technical drawings, high-level presentation skills and be able to negotiate/close. Knowledge of the Street Furniture manufacturing and sales environment would be a bonus. WHAT IS IT: the newly established role of Tenders and Business Development Manager. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO ACHIEVE: ensure that Tenders received are converted to sales via the management and execution of a robust sales process, especially where Furnitubes is Specified. As well as: actively seek out other opportunities where Furnitubes has not been asked to Tender. Year One target will be £1.5M of tendered sales and inbound enquiries. WHERE IS IT: approx. 80% in office in Greenwich, London. WHEN: immediately available. SALARY/BENEFITS: a collegiate, fun and supportive professional environment! Your success will be both recognised and rewarded with a market-leading package including: £35K base salary, pension, parking permit, 25 days holiday plus Public Holidays and other benefits. Uncapped commission (1% for specified inbound, 2% of unspecified revenue) OTE £53K. YOU must have a Business Development and Sales skill-set and experience of closing deals. There will be a strong emphasis on penetrating new customer markets and unspecified business to develop high-grade revenue streams. YOU must put complex customer issues at the heart of your decision making while maximising their exposure to a wide range of products to enhance profitability.
