Asbestos Contracts Manager - Wiltshire

An opportunity to join a successful UKAS accredited company within the asbestos sector who provide specialist asbestos services to clients throughout the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced and loyal Asbestos Surveyor based in or around the Wiltshire area. The ideal candidate will hold the P402 asbestos certificate and will demonstrate their extensive experience and knowledge working in the asbestos industry and carrying out asbestos surveying duties. Applications from South Wales, Bristol, Swindon, Oxford, Chippenham and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & experience: Will ideally come from a strong asbestos removals, contracts and management background. Although consideration will also be given to strong asbestos consultants or asbestos supervisors looking to take the step in their career. Previous experience in a contracts manager role within the asbestos industry. Excellent working knowledge of asbestos Health and Safety legislations/procedures. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package. Role: Contract Managing Asbestos Removal projects. Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the correct Health & Safety procedures and client specification. Completing risk assessments, method statements, writing tenders, PPQs, specifications and ASB5 notifications. Attending sites to monitor standards and compliance. Achieving KPI's. Assessing potential contracts. Organisation of staff to achieve completion of contracts. Collating and producing management reports in accordance with company procedures and guidelines. Assist with Health & Safety training/issues. Dealing with incoming sales enquiries. Liaising with the company's clients in a professional manner. Generating new business leads.
