Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious Senior/Project Quantity Surveyor to join my clients commercial team. The successful candidate will be working on a high end residential development in hornsey. Job Profile: You will support the project’s commercial team contributing to the delivery of all confirmed project tasks and goals. Your key responsibilities will involve – assist with the procurement of Sub-Contract; Consultant and Supply only packages; contribute to the analysis of work package tender returns; assist in the preparation of Orders with Sub-Contractors, Consultants and Suppliers; receive and make payments in respect of interim and final account applications from Sub-Contractors, Consultants and Suppliers in accordance with Company contractual arrangements; contribute to the preparation if interim and final account applications for the Company and likewise internal cost and value reconciliation reports; agree Changes/Variations; carry out take-off, measurement, scheduling exercises and prepare bills of quantities for the procurement and sub-letting processes; assist with and respond to project level correspondence; attend project related meetings. Requirements: Demonstrating suitable qualifications and experience gained ideally within main contracting organisations, you will have a strong background in commercial management of contracts and subcontracts, subcontractor procurement and managing variations. Preferably you will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction related studies
