Consulting Subsidence Engineer/Surveyor

Specialist subsidence soil stabilisation company seeks to appoint highly experienced subsidence engineer or surveyor, to provide technical guidance for the company on a national basis from its Head Office. The role will require you to spend 40% of your time in the office, 40% attending site visits to deal with complex subsidence claims issues and the remaining 20% will be home-based undertaking any other general tasks associated with your day-to-day responsibilities. You will be the main technical referral point, helping with SI interpretation, basic ground stabilisation scheme design and technical issues on site.

Candidates must essentially be professionally qualified through either MRICS (Building Surveying) or MICE/MIStructE. You should have significant experience of working in a subsidence claims environment, either in terms of the initial diagnostic investigation or the repair phase. You will ideally live in the south Midlands or Thames Valley region to enable easy access to the office. Salary up to £60,000 plus bonus, car, pension, private medical care and 25 days holidays.
