A Nottinghamshire based Building Services Consultancy are looking to add a Junior/Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to their team. With over 50 years of experience they are now seeking to recruit an Engineer to their team with the plan being to aid in your continuous development, provide you with the opportunity for real on the job experience' in a Consultancy environment and the chance to earn a competitive salary. Due to recently securing a lot of repeat business, the consultancy finds themselves in a healthy position with a full order book for the foreseeable. Responsibilities: The core responsibilities to be undertaken by the successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be: • Producing Mechanical sketches, schematics and designs for projects. • Carrying out occasional site visits to oversee Mechanical Installations. • Keeping up to date with the latest Building Regulations and changes in the industry. • Providing design support on projects in the sectors of Healthcare, Education, Retail, Commercial and High-End Residential. The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have: • Previous Building Services Design experience within a Consultancy or Contractor environment. • Knowledge of AutoCAD is essential. • Have experience of using building services design packages such as Cymap or Hevacomp.
