Job Description

Health and Safety Quality Manager Oxfordshire-With National Travel Circa £50,000 + Package Are you an experienced Health safety and Quality Manager looking for a change in career in a move that will allow you to show case your skills? Our client is the sole supplier of Durabase © matting, hiring and installing throughout the UK. Our delivery and mat system allow their customers to access sites no matter how wet, throughout the year. They have a wide-ranging client base, in Rail & Construction and Power, Transmission and Distribution. Also are exceptionally strong in the utility sector, where their customers require access all year round to power grids, railway lines and energy installations. They pride themselves on innovation, Health & Safety, strong environmental credentials and providing their customers with best value for money. The Role · Maintain and report accurately and in a timely manner on HSEQ KPIs · Support and assist operational management teams to fulfil their Health, Safety and Environmental legislative requirements · Continuous development of HSEQ management systems including policy documents, operating procedures, risk assessments, method statements and accident reporting systems · Preparation of job specific method statements and risk assessments for specialist decommissioning or non-standard projects · Identification and arranging training and competence requirements and induction for all staff · Attend HSEQ management and committee meetings as required · Attend client, contractor, regulatory meetings and other events as required · Undertake internal site audits and report findings with suggested improvements where appropriate · Investigate safety, environmental and quality related incidents with operational management to establish root causes and preventative measures · Maintenance and development of ISO accredited HSEQ management systems · Assisting management in the preparation of tenders and the completion of vendor questionnaires The Person · Experience of ISO standard and managing information management systems. · Relevant Health & Safety qualification(s) · Membership of recognised Professional body (BSI, IOSH, CQI) · Experience of quality assurance standards and their maintenance · Knowledge of environmental legislation · PC literate with good skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint · Strong interpersonal skills · Excellent attention to detail · Have an understanding or experience of working on multi sites & remote workers · Have good communication and presentation skills · Able to coach and train others · Self-motivated and creative · Able to work under pressure and to deadlines If you would like to be considered for the above permanent vacancy, please send CV to (url removed) or call me on (phone number removed) to discuss the role in more detail
