Job Description
We are currently looking for: 1 x Site/ Payroll Admin
* Location: Barrow in Furness
* Starting: End of July
* Duration: Approx. 6 months - potentially longer
* Rate: Negotiable depending on experience
Role Objectives and key responsibilities – but not limited to:
* Maintaining time sheets and accurately inputting time and attendance data into the computer, and filed onto share point database.
* Verify attendance, hours worked and pay adjustments while tracking overtime hours.
* Track leave time such as vacation, holidays, personal or sick days for employees.
* Accurate reporting of hours and rates to be paid to head office accounts department for payment on time.
* Ensuring time sheets are submitted, and/or collecting time keeping records from main contractor electronic system if in place.
* Periodically review and update pay data when advised on employee raises or other changes in payment terms.
* Ensure that all employees are accounted for and that time sheets accurately reflect hours worked.
Key skills/ attributes:
* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite – including the use of Word, Outlook and high level of competency in Excel.
* Knowledge of mathematical reasoning and analytical skills are needed to avoid any errors during work.
* Methodical organisation, accuracy, attention to detail.
* Should be able to work both in a team environment and work unsupervised.
* Proactive, conscientious, a high level of commitment and deliver work on time.
* Positive response to pressure
