Job Description
I am currently recruiting a QS for a regional main contractor based in York. The client specialise in a variety of work ranging from Education, Commercial and Healthcare. They are recruiting through growth and they have a proven track record of retaining and developing their employees. The company has a great culture and a fantastic reputation for delivering quality projects to the construction industry.
Whats the role?
Well they are hoping to recruit an experienced QS to oversee the design, build and installation of a variety of schemes across the UK. the project values will vary between £50k installs to £4m plus.
What do they need from you?
As an experienced QS you must be a great communicator and be prepared to wear many hats as you will be liaising with both the client and contractors throughout the development. Having worked for a multidisciplinary contractor would be a huge advantage.
In terms of skills/attributes/qualififcations they are looking for:
- Good communicator
- Highly organised
- Experienced in Quantity Surveying
- Degree level or equivalent (Advantageous)
- Driving licence and prepared to travel
- Be prepared to go the extra mile
