Lead Electrical Engineer / Design CRE

Lead Electrical Designer, Rail Industry Excellent Rates + Benefits Maple Cross I am currently looking for a Lead Electrical Designer to join a well-established utility and rail industry contractor . As Lead Electrical Designer you will demonstrate capability to perform Design Review and Approvals for junior enigneers, focused on electrificaiton and plant requirements for Network Rail Southern. You will have: Ability to demonstrate a good level of understanding in electrical design and other BS standards. Familiarity with Netowrk Rail Form A and Form B. Ability to carry out site visits and work with other designers Ability to use and understand outputs from Amtech, Dialux and Hevacomp software. LV of HV experience in design. The ability to identify problems and to react quickly & successfully is a major job component Working knowledge of H&S best practice and legislation Ability to carry out design reviews for proposed electrical diversions and identify key constraints and opportunities, especially within central London sites. Applicants should be degree qualified, and hold or have held Senior Design / Contractors Responsible Engineer type roles in the past.
