Site Engineer - Manchester The Company A Civil Engineering contractor with a national presence and with regional offices in the North West, Yorkshire, Scotland and the South. They work on some of the most prestigious schemes in the UK acting as both Principal Contractor as well as Sub Contractor, typically delivering schemes such as Dual Carriageways, Large Remediation and Enabling Works, Section 278 and Section 38 works, Reinforced Concrete Structures, Landscaping and Deep Drainage up to £15 million in value. The Role Working as part of the on site management team you will have experience of: Setting out and Surveying using Total Stations and GPS Using LSS to gather information and amend drawings Working on large civil engineering projects such as Roads Drainage Bulk Earthworks and excavations Embankment construction Reinforced concrete Working with multiple machines Keeping accurate records Calculating volumes Liaising with other members of the site management team.
