Technical Surveyor (Structural Glazing)

Technical Surveyor (Structural Glazing) Technical Surveyors, my client is a London based manufacturing company specialising in high end glass sliding doors as well as other glass structures for high end clients. They operate and have customers nationwide, but all of their manufacturing is undertaken in North Acton, London. Technical Surveyor Role: - Undertake site surveys throughout UK - Meet with architects, clients and contractors and advise on design options - Take accurate measurements and promptly process surveys - Provide accurate and detailed information to relevant departments - Review access for installation including lifting requirements - Assist installation process including drafting RAMs and Method Statements Technical Surveyor Attributes: - Organised individual with an eye for detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Polite and courteous attitude - Problem-solving skills with pragmatic approach - Approachable with ability to mentor fitters - Ability to mulit-task and prioritise workload - Attenion to detail and strong desire for accuracy - Willingness to learn and develop - Must be punctual Technical Surveyor Essential skill requirements - Surveying experience or minimum 5 years experience as a glazing installer or similar - Good knowledge of the construction industry - Good understanding of geometry - Fluent in written and spoken English - Valid UK driver’s license - Good level of computer literacy - Ability to sketch freehand - Visa to work in the UK Technical Surveyor Desireables: - Crane supervisor tickets & skills.
