PSR Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a client, that has secured a number of projects in Yorkshire, the North East and East Midlands regions. They are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial lead on a project. Your role will be a mixture of remote working and project work. With the first scheme near Chesterfield. Our client has a flexible approach to managing your own diary with working from home, in line with the needs of the project. Contracts undertaken tend to be carried out as principal contractor on schemes such as industrial and manufacturing, amongst others. Contracts can be either NEC or JCT and range in value from £5m to £25m
You will benefit from being part of a team, working on large scale and complex construction builds, including civil engineering packages, steel frame structures and large M&E packages. Future work-load is very healthy and our client has continued to win work in recent months. The business has grown in turnover and profitability over the last three years.
Duties Include:
Site based and working from home
Procurement and letting of sub-contract and supplier packages
Sub-contract account management
Cost value reconciliation
Good ability to communicate internally and externally with people
Valuations and variations
Final Accounts
Ideally knowledge of both JCT and NEC contracts.Job Title: Project Quantity Surveyor
