Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant - Sheffield

Our client is a long-standing asbestos company who provides professional services to predominately commercial and industrial contracts across the Yorkshire region. They are currently recruiting for an experienced and competent Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant based in and around the Sheffield area. The successful applicant will have extensive experience delivering asbestos surveys to a varied site base and will ideally come from a consultnacy background and have previous experience in auditing. Applications from Leeds, Bradford, Chesterfield and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience: The applicant will come from strong educational, asbestos, technical, training, operational and consultancy background. Extensive experience working in a consultant role within the asbestos industry. Must hold the P402 or the equivalent RSPH qualifications. Ideally have previous experience auditing. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package. Key Role: Providing Asbestos Consultancy advice. Conducting Asbestos Surveys. Building the business and management of existing accounts. Training and auditing of staff. Allocation of work. Being involved with audit processes. Meeting targets and goals. Maintaining a professional relationship with new and existing clients. Providing technical reports. Writing tender specifications and evaluating tenders submitted. Planning of all work in accordance with current legislation. Undertake a full range of asbestos remedial work.
