Job Description

An ambitious and growing multi-skilled consultancy part of a major PLC is urgently seeking to increase their CDM Capacity. With increased demand from a major retail chain they are looking for an APS qualified, experienced pre-construction phase plans CDM-Consultant to work as a dedicated resource for their clients fast moving development. The Role as the CDM Consultant / Principal Designer you will need to carry out duties as PD in accordance with CDM2015 regulations, to a top tier retail company. You will have experience of working on a number of CDM-Consultant duties over a wide range of industry projects such as; Retail, Fit-out and new build and also providing site based Health & Safety consultancy services You must have acted as CDM-Consultant for at least 3 years working with pre-construction phase plans and be a current Member of the Association for Project Safety (APS) and hold NEBOSH Construction Certificate. The role will be split between the clients’ office, on site and home based. You must be very comfortable with working in a client-facing capacity, demonstrate excellent communication skills, presentation, and commercial awareness. Requirements: • Minimum NEBOSH Construction qualification or higher in H&S (NCRQ or equivalent). • 3 years minimum experience as a pre-construction phase plans CDM-Consultant. • Proven experience of a working knowledge of CDM2015 regulations • Full UK driving licence.
