Document Controller - M&E Building Services Start – July 2020 Permanent Location – Central London Salary – Up to £30,000 depending on experience Industry – M&E Building Services A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one our clients based in central London; they are a team of like-minded individuals delivering a commercially designed building services solution. The team is 100 strong and still growing as they operate from their central London office and are firmly established as one of London’s largest privately owned sustainability and engineering services and design practices. They pride themselves on being designers first and foremost, but also offer strategic advice to developers, owners, and occupiers across all elements of construction. Due to continued expansion they are now looking for an experienced Document Controller that has minimum of 3 years working in an M&E environment. Responsibility & Duties The Document Controller will provide project support to the engineering department and data / document control support in the daily performance and operation of projects. The role requires the individual to be responsible for the efficient and timely provision of document control support. The role is the key link between engineering and Clients in maintaining the timely flow of information and the upkeep of information to maintain documents and records. You should be capable of communicating well with other people at all levels, internally and externally and you should be able to organise your workload effectively to ensure that deadlines are achieved Experience & Qualification You will need a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a document controller within an M&E business Experience with viewpoint Ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports Ability to prioritise, organize workload and work to deadlines Ability to work under pressure Good Communication skills Any previous experience with AutoCAD will be beneficial but not essential
