HVAC Engineer
Midlands

We are working with a specialist engineering and facilities management provider operating from the Midlands. Our client provides full mechanical, electrical and facilities management packages to commercial clients across the UK.
The successful HVAC Engineer will join the established team of field based HVAC Engineer who support the client's commercial contracts for various schools, car garages, hotels and various other commercial and industrial sector clients
The HVAC engineer role will be mobile, carrying out service, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of commercial HVAC systems at a number of their commercial contracts, this will include commercial boilers, radiant heaters, burners, splits, VRVs, VRFs, AHUs and chiller systems.
The successful candidate will be based in the Midlands, and will be mobile covering sites across the Midlands with some requirements to travel further when required. Candidates based outside the Midlands will still be considered.
HVAC Engineer responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing and fixing HVAC systems
Collection and fitting of new parts
Carrying out reactive calls and planned maintenance
Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely way
Updating client reporting systems in an accurate and timely way
Working safely in line with health and safety procedures
Required Qualifications:
NVQ Level 2/3 - Air conditioning & Refrigeration
City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Category 1 or equivalent
ACS Gas - COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1, TPCP1A (Desirable)
City & Guilds 5831 Electrical Safe Isolation (Desirable)
City & Guilds 17 th /18 th Edition (Desirable)
Hold a full UK drivers' licence
HVAC Engineer Package:
Salary: £33,(Apply online only) - £36,(Apply online only)
Hours: 40 hours per week
