Our client is a well-established Building Restoration company and has gained a reputation for setting exceptional standards within the industry. With a strong client base, they undertake work on Grade l and Grade ll listed buildings and those which hold both architectural and historical significance.

The Job Opportunity
Due to continued success, they are seeking a highly motivated Senior Contracts Manager who can demonstrate energy and enthusiasm and who will contribute toward the continued expansion of the successful restoration business. The available position offers an excellent opportunity to broaden experience as a Senior Contracts Manager.

Skills & Experience Requirements
The successful applicant will be a mature team player and will be:
Highly motivated and dynamic
Enthusiastic and commercially minded, with a proven track record in managing contracts
Qualified with a degree in Construction, Building Surveying or relevant field
Experience within the field of external refurbishment and restoration/conservation
Responsible for projects from commencement to completion, including financial matters
Able to work on their own initiative
Exceptional attention to detail
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Mentor for more Junior Contracts Managers
Managing projects to ensure stringent quality standards, Health and Safety Standards and fiscal control are met to produce successful and profitable projects.
To oversee and be solely responsible for a number of large quantity restoration projects, primarily in the London area.
Vetting, appointing and managing sub-contractors
Price variations and prepare valuations and final accounts
Prepare monthly interim project cost reports for the directors and clients
Resolving contractual disputes with both sub-contractors and clients
Client liaison and to build on an existing robust client base
Report fortnightly to the directors on project progress, programme, quality and finance
Managing site teams to ensure compliance with both Health and Safety and Environmental legislation.
