One of the region’s leading Contractors is seeking to appoint a talented Design Manager to join their team in Leeds. The company Part of a highly successful group of companies operating across the North of England, the business is well known for delivering a range of projects in both the public and private sectors, across both Commercial Build and Residential/ Social Housing. They are also a trusted partner on several local and national frameworks. Design Manager Role Due to continued success, the company require an experienced Design Manager to oversee the delivery of several new build schemes in Leeds with individual values up to £12m. Overview: • Reporting to the Regional Divisional Director • Working closely with both the pre-construction team and the Project Manager/ site teams • Taking the lead for the successful design management delivery of the schemes for which you are responsible • Working on projects throughout Yorkshire, initially largely in Leeds Position Requirements: • Ideally Degree Qualified • Strong background in Design Management within a Main Contracting environment is essential • Proven track record of high rise/ PRS schemes is preferred • Strong Contractual knowledge • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships Salary and Benefits: • Salary up to £60k, possibly more depending on experience • Package including Car allowance or company car, contributary pension and fuel card • Open, friendly and collaborative working environment • Working for an established, progressive and multi award winning company • Excellent opportunities for personal and career development.
