HGV Class 2 Driver

Class 2 Driver Andover 12 week Temporary to Permanent Competitive Salary Monday to Friday occasional Saturdays if required 45 hours per week overtime Our client are a nationwide courier company who have recently gained a new contract for a construction company based in Andover. They are looking to expand their fleet with a Class 2 driver starting from May 2020 working for their client in Andover. This position is working Monday to Friday with guaranteed 45 hours per week overtime rate paid after 45 hours . There may also be the occasional Saturday shift. Whilst there are no planned nights out this happens very rarely you will be required to stay overnight which will be paid. Delivering construction roofing materials direct to customers sites both public and private the ideal candidate will have a good level of customer service and be personable and presentable. Minimal handballing during deliveries is required. On average it is 2 3 drops per day within the region between Andover Gatwick M25 M4 Exeter. This is a new fleet of trucks 18t flat truck with roof truss carrying conversions to them designed specifically for this company. Due to this training will take place on Friday 31st January 2020 to familiarise with the truck and complete the company induction ready for the official start on Monday 3rd February. The training and induction is paid for.
