Job Description
A leading NHS organisation is looking to an experienced Estates professional to oversee structural safety surveys and clerk of works duties in several critical projects;
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee a number of structural safety surveys and clerk of works duties for a number of critical projects;
Communicate highly complex information on building costs, inflation and other estates related issues to the organisation;
Provide advice, guidance, reports up to and including Board Level, on highly complex building and estate related issues;
Provide expert advice and interpretation on complex building and estate related issues to NHS Health organisations;
Provide written and verbal advice to NHS organisations on preparation of technical and contractual briefing documents for capital works;
Critically review programme and project reports to identify and comment on any delivery risks or issues as required;
Provide informed technical comment on new or revised editions of technical guidance documents issued by NHS Estates such as Building Notes (HBNs) and Hospital Technical Memoranda (HTMs);
A successful candidate will have:
Building Services experience within the NHS;
Must have a construction/structural background;
Ideally have P22 experience.
