The opportunity has arisen for a Reinstatement Scheduler to work in our Telecoms division based in our Warrington office. Reporting to the Office Manager you will be responsible for the regional reinstatement planning and organisation of the reinstatement programme to ensure effective use of direct and sub contract labour.
What you’ll be doing day to day
* Organisation and input into weekly programme meetings with supervisors in allocated area.
* Ensure all works requiring reinstatement have the works details captured and a relevant reinstator programmed to attend site to complete works and clear site.
* Highlight any shortfalls within the programme and detail these to the Operations Manager.
* Update the nmcn management systems within specified timescales and deliverables required within the contract.
* Assist in the organizing of D1 meeting attendance and the scheduling of defects if received.
* Ensure reinstatement teams are programmed effectively to satisfy location, skill set and work type.
* Liaise with supervisors to ensure all projects have the appropriate paperwork in place to enable them to proceed.
* Interpret instructions and implement actions according to scheduling procedures set out for the contract.
* Liaise with the NRSWA team to ensure all works permitted are managed through to site clear ensuring enough time is available to complete works avoiding any Section 74 potential overruns.
* Use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in scheduling procedures.
The experience we’re looking for in a candidate
* 2 years scheduling experience
* Fully conversant with Microsoft Office packages
* Excellent knowledge of planning software
* A positive approach to work
* Excellent organisation skills
* The ability to work well under pressure
* Excellent communication skills
* Be IT literate with good presentation skills
