Senior Site Engineer

Our client are a specialist contractor who operate as both principle and sub-contractor, depending on the project. They are looking for a Freelance / Fixed term contract Senior Site Engineer to undertake all the setting out of steel work, holding down bolts, and services along with hard landscaping along with all Quality Assurance on a project in Taunton. The project is due to start on site late June 2020, the Engineer is programmed in for 5 month. Working for the Main Contractor, the value of this package of work is £5M The project runs close to a Railway line, so safety is paramount. Experience You will ideally be experienced with the use of a Robotic instrument and Auto cad. The role will involve site set up through to day to day monitoring of sub-contractor work and engineers setting out. QA documentation and drawing control. Attending to day to day design problem and liaison with design manager
