Quantity Surveyor - Bristol

Quantity Surveyor Bristol Permanent £28,000 - £40,000 (Dependent on expereince) A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor with a family run business based in the Bristol area on a full-time permanent basis. My client is market leading in their field, working on the design, manufacture and supply of solutions to a range of industries. The Quantity Surveyor will be required to do the following; * Administer the invitation to quote process from start to award of the contract * Work with the Project Manager and Design team to undertake risk evaluation on work packages prior to award of contracts * Capture changes to work instructions from both the client & the contractor * Conduct risk reduction meetings with the supply chain and attend commercial review meetings * Produce month end reports for internal review * Report of monthly cost performance vs forecast * Manage invoices through the works management systems * Post completions of works undertake review of project costs and final account preparation with the supply chain and liaise with client Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications required * Degree/HNC/HND in Quantity surveying/engineering/construction * Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications * Able to communicate and present confidently and clearly * Effective written and oral communication skills * Driving licence * Experience managing large scale packages * Experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large scale construction projects * Mechanical bias with an appreciation for other package * Experience of the commercial environment Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications required * CIPS/RICS/C.ENG * CSCS/EUSR SHEA * IOSH Working safely
