Multi Skilled M&E Technician

Resourcing Group are currently working with a Trust who are looking to hire a Multi Skilled M&E Technician to work within one of their hospital based in the centre of Derby. The positions will be a 12 week temporary to permanent post. JOB PURPOSE To carry out a wide range of Mechanical/Electrical repairs, including planned preventive maintenance and new work to a high standard. Working on own initiative when applicable or as part of the estates team. To provide cover when necessary for members of the shift team which provides 7 day cover to the hospital, engaging in a wide range of duties including grounds and gardens and unskilled tasks when required. A multi skilled approach will be required that crosses over between Mechanical /Electrical and Building/Construction maintenance and repairs. The ability to work with minimal supervision and also to work successfully as part of a team. To undertake the day to day planned preventive maintenance duties and repairs, checks and testing of the complete spectrum of services found in a building services environment. To attend to all emergencies within the site, within a predetermined response time. To carry out planned preventative maintenance on plant and equipment within agreed SLA time periods Ensure that all plant and equipment is complaint with HTM requirements To carry out day-to-day reactive work requests, reported from wards and departments within agreed SLA time periods.to ensure limited interruption to operational services. Ensure that the patient and staff environments are well maintained at all times Analysis and monitor the Building Management System alarm reports and take necessary action to rectify faults and notify other members of the estates department To analyse and fault find on mechanical/electrical equipment within their core tradesIf you have any questions about this vacancy please contact Zac at our Birmingham office on (phone number removed).
