Brick Mason

We are looking for a number of Brick / Stone Masons to join our expanding and exciting client working on restoration and remedial works for insurance companies. Our client works with customers who expect their homes to be of the highest standard and because of the jobs you will be dealing with, we are looking for a construction or building background. You will be the face of customer care, so we need to you have excellent communication skills and enjoy dealing with customers. You will be on hand to answer questions and give practical help where needed. You will have a passion for quality and professionalism! Job Description You will be working from a scope of works and remediate each item approved by our office team, making sure the work is done efficiently and to the highest quality. Skills: * Competent in brick stitching * Matching up new work to old * Building dry stone walls * Competent in the installation of HeliBars * General bricklaying skills * Familiar with working on conservation housing and matching brick work Job Requirements: * Good communication skills – both verbal and written * Have a full UK manual driving licence and own transport * Own tools (power tools and hand tools to carry out the jobs) * Basic understanding of schedule of rates * Ability to operate a mobile device to update work status and upload images * Be willing to work according to a rota and on an ad-hoc basis due to demand from the insurance companies * Experience in insurance work would be advantageous * Be willing to work according to a rota and on an ad-hoc basis due to demand from the insurance companies * The right candidate will be expected to commute and in the following postcodes: NN, LE, MK, CV, PE, OX. Location: Northamptonshire & surrounding areas. Salary: £16 - £18 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
