Salary: €60-70k plus package

 We’re working with an established Irish main contractor who are seeking an experienced SQS for a series of fit out and new build commercial projects.

You will have a minimum of 5 years’ cost managing experience and at least 3 years’ of construction experience with a main contractor.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to: -

• Cost control and management of design on D&B project
• Preparation of Internal Costs / Value reports on a monthly basis.
• Preparation of subcontracts and Management of Subcontractors, suppliers and material Procurement Schedules
• Responsibility for agreeing valuations with Client
• Budget control / materials management
• Ability to negotiate with contractors, suppliers with a view to agree final accounts
• Procurement of sub-contractor packages and purchase orders

Requirements

• Ideally degree qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Experience working with a main contractor
• Experience working towards tight deadlines and budgets, dealing with interim payments.
• Excellent client and sub-contractor relationship skills
• Commercial fit out experience needed, commercial new build experience would be a bonus
